Gavin Parsons

Gavin is the Managing Director of the firm and holds a Diploma of Laws (LPAB) and a Diploma of Legal Practice.

Immediately prior to opening his own law firm in April 2014, Gavin refined his legal skills as a Senior Associate at a medium-sized law firm based in the Sydney CBD.  During these years Gavin demonstrated his unique abilities and passion for the law whilst acting for a wide range of clientele providing quality legal advice in a diverse range of legal fields.

Prior to commencing private practice in 2009, Gavin had a successful career with various NSW State Government agencies over a period of nine years. Gavin spent several years at the Victims Compensation Tribunal and the Office of Fair Trading and also served as Manager of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Registry. Gavin has been practicing in and around the law for 20+ years.

Commercial Litigation - acting for individuals and businesses in commercial matters including trade practices, debt recovery, corporate law and commercial contracts

Commercial and Business Law - drafting and/or negotiating a broad range of contracts, agreements and legal documents for all sizes of companies and businesses.  Advising clients on a wide range of legal issues including corporations law, trade practices, competition and consumer laws and both state and federal legislative requirements

Employment law - acting for employers and employees. Preparing, updating and implementing workplace policies, assisting with the performance of workplace investigations to minimise liability and manage risks, dispute resolution; and litigation including appearing in the Fair Work Commission, Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia

Bankruptcy and Insolvency - acting for and advising individuals and companies facing bankruptcy or insolvency. Acting for and advising Administrators and Liquidators regarding the administration or liquidation of small and medium companies including strategy, recovery, settlement, the realisation of assets and other bankruptcy and insolvency issues

Estate and Succession Planning - advising clients, preparing and drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Guardianship instruments

Intellectual Property - advising and acting for companies and individuals in relation to trade marks, passing off, copyright, business reputations and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Administrative Law - advising clients, preparing applications, acting for individuals and businesses and appearing in various government tribunals including Victims Compensation Tribunal, Consumer Trader and Tenancy Tribunal and Administrative Decisions Tribunal which as of January 2014 were all incorporated into the new NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.


Kamil Aydinlioglu

Kamil is a highly talented young Solicitor who was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in May 2022 and to the High Court of Australia in September 2022.

Prior to joining Gavin Parsons and Associates in April 2023, Kamil gained significant exposure to commercial litigation, property & conveyancing, wills & estates, family law and criminal law at several boutique and medium sized law firms. Kamil also has experience working closely with technology at a legal software firm, allowing him to acquire a broad range of commercial acumen, knowledge and skills that assist him in effectively adapting to the developing and dynamic nature of the legal industry as a Solicitor. 

Since joining the team at Gavin Parsons and Associates, Kamil has been eager to immerse himself in a vast array of practice areas ranging from insolvency, asset protection, PPSR, franchising and corporate structures to a variety of employment law matters. He has an impressive ability to handle matters with great attention to detail whilst delivering exceptional results in a timely manner, in addition to being a confident and capable litigator.

Kamil has a keen investigative eye which he enjoys applying in conjunction with his wide range of legal knowledge and skills to complex and challenging matters in order to ensure our clients - whether individuals, businesses or organisations - are provided with the highest quality legal services and strategic solutions.

Commercial Litigation – Kamil has experience with an extensive variety of litigious disputes including in the Federal Court of Australia, Fair Work Commission, NCAT and throughout his career has has consistently appeared in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales for both Plaintiffs and Defendants.

Commercial and Business Law – Kamil is experienced in drafting, preparing, negotiating and advising on a broad array of different types of legal instruments, agreements and contracts including but not limited to franchise and distribution agreements, employment contracts, general security agreements, company constitutions, shareholder agreements for financial service providers and superannuation funds, drafting and reviewing contracts for the purchase and sale of businesses; and creating fixed, discretionary and testamentary trusts for individuals and corporations. 

Property & Conveyancing – Kamil has conducted the purchase and sale of real properties and provided advice on contracts, as well as prepared and reviewed numerous commercial and retail leases for businesses.

Wills & Estates – Kamil has drafted wills, enduring guardianship and power of attorney documents; managed estate assets including real and personal property and financial instruments; drafted applications for family provision claims to contest unfair wills; as well as made applications to obtain probate.
